If you witnessed her performance as Dorothy in the play Wizard of Oz while attending Saratoga High, you understand the extraordinary talent we've lost. Nina, you will forever be in that place in my heart. My condolences to her family and friends. As described in her obituary, she clearly possessed all of those wonderful altruistic qualities & much more not mentioned. My times with Nina, as her mentor & friend, were opportunities for creative moments & insightful conversation. She was always supportive, kind & helpful to me & I, in turn, tried to reciprocate
by providing space for her to create her beautiful sculptures.
I am proud to be the owner of a number of her pieces, which I value & treasure. Our collaborative association culminated in a two-person exhibition that Nina & I had at 70 Beekman Street Gallery.
I wish to extend my sincere condolences to all of Nina’s family
& friends.
