George W. Gailor

George W. Gailor, age 44, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015 in Saratoga Springs, New York.

He is the son of the late George F. Gailor and Sharon Ruhle Pratt.

George grew up in Saratoga and worked for his late uncle William Gailor & Sons Construction.  He also worked at Hannaford Supermarket and Walmart.

Lucille Vicchiullo

Lucille Vicchiullo, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on January 26, 1925 to the late Dominic Vicchiullo and Marta Nero.  

A funeral service will be held at  3 pm on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.) Calling hours will be held from 2 - 3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Robert "Bob" O'Leary

Robert  “Bob” O’Leary, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015,  at home. He was 70 years old.

Born on October 20, 1944 in Saratoga Springs, NY to Robert O’Leary Sr. and the late

Jean Towner, he was a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs. 

A graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, Bob earned an associate’s degree in Business from Adirondack Community College. He went on to become a salesman for the SC Johnson Wax in Racine, WI for many years.

Ruby K. Francisco

Ruby K. Francisco, age 64, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on September 4, 1951 in Schenectady, NY to Conrad Dorau Sr. and Vivian Sherette.

Ruby graduated from Scotia Glenville High School, class of 1969.

Ruby was a cashier for Woolworth in Saratoga Springs for many years. 

Patricia L. Howard

PATRICIA L. HOWARD

Hartford, NY Patricia L. Howard, 66, of Hartford, NY, passed away into the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in her home with her family by her side.

Patricia was born in Glens Falls on May 1, 1949, the daughter of Walter Crannell and Vera Gumprecht Crannell, the third of three sisters.

She graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1967, was self employed and worked hard all of her life as a housecleaner and gardener.

Mildred S. Burlingame

Mildred Sharon Burlingame, age 56, passed away on August 28^th, 2015 at home, with her family at her side.

She was born on June 16, 1959 in Cohoes, NY to John Liebach and Anna Mae Liebach.

Mildred worked for many years at The Courtyard Marriott as a Room Attendant.

Mildred enjoyed spending time at the ocean, especially spending time with her grand-daughter the last few years.

Thomas (Art) Stevens

Thomas A. Stevens, age 92, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 13, 1922 in Saratoga Springs, NY to the late George H. Stevens and Bessie Farrington.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was a member of the IBEW Electrical Workers Union no. 166, Alpine Meadows Ski Patrol, Saraspa Rod & Gun Club and Bend of the River Golf
Club. 

Richard Schermerhorn

Richard Schermerhorn Jr., age 48, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on May 16, 1967 in Elmira, NY to Richard Schermerhorn Sr. and Cindy Schermerhorn.

Rick graduated from Saratoga Springs High School Class of 1985.
