Clifford (Kip) E. Barody

Clifford (Kip) E. Barody of Sweet Road passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at Glens Falls Hospital following a long battle with cancer.  He was 72.

Born on October 20, 1941 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the youngest of 14 children born to Joseph and Maude (Denno) Barody.

Clifford retired from the Lehigh Cement Company in Glens Falls where he was employed for many years.

His wife Lois (MacDonald) Barody died in 1999.

Survivors include his daughter Melinda Barody and her fiancé Dennis Bouton of Saratoga Springs, two sons Kipp Barody and his wife Miriam of Green Cove Springs, FL and Lawerence Bain of Jacksonville, FL, three grandchildren Kipp Barody, Jr, Maya Barody and Catherine Concepcion, several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be private.  Burial will be at Southside Cemetery in South Glens Falls.

The family would like to thank Dr. Stoutenburg, the Staff at Glens Falls Hospital ICU, the Cancer Center and his brother Jimmy for always being there.
