Rudolph
"Lance" Graska, age 75, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at St.
Peter’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was
born on October 1, 1939 in Canterbury, CT to the late Rudolph J. Graska and Ann
Deltac Graska
Lance
graduated from Griswold High School in Griswold Ct.
He worked
primarily as a welder in the construction industry for many years, although he was
a jack of all trades. Later he worked as a school bus driver for several years
before retiring.
He enjoyed
working in his garage on many different projects. He could build anything and he
loved collecting diecast cars and also gardening.
Lance is
survived by his loving wife Yvonne of 56 years, daughter Donna Meers, sons
Michael and Daniel, Daniel's wife Colleen,, brother David Graska,
brother-in-law George Guillemette, George's wife Anne, sister-in-law Jan Joly,
granddaughter Shannon Meers, and grandsons Nicholas Meers, Cory Graska, and
Joel Graska.
He is
preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Marie Graska, and son-in-law
Michael Meers.
Funeral
services will be held at 2pm on Monday, March 16, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Roman
Catholic Church, 3159 Route 9N, Greenfield Center, NY, with Deacon Gary Picher
officiating.
Calling
hours will be held on Saturday, March 14th from 1 to 4 pm at
Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave (Route 9 Marion Ave), Saratoga
Springs, New York, 12866
