Ann S Maher of Condon Rd passed away Saturday morning January 5, 2013 at her home in the comfort of her family. She was 76.
Born on December 31, 1936 in Saratoga Springs NY, she was the daughter of William P. and Mary (Dalton) Maher.
Miss. Maher was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School. She retired from the Golub (Price Chopper) Corporation in Rotterdam where she worked in the Accounting Department. She was a communicant of St. Clements Church in Saratoga Springs.
Ann enjoyed spending time gardening and bird watching. She enjoyed traveling and winning at the Racino.
She is survived by two sisters Margaret A. Martin of Albany and Katherine LeClair (Gene) of Two Rivers Wisconsin; nieces and nephews; William Martin (Lori) of Rotterdam, Joy McAlister (Frank) of Albany, Charles Dooley of Dalton, MA, Daniel Dooley of Canastota, Kenneth Dooley of Wilton, Kelly Booth (Michael) , Patrick Dooley (Laura), Jeffrey Dooley, Sean Dooley (Stacey) of the Town of Saratoga, Christopher Dooley of New York City, Benjamin LeClair (Diana) Albuquerque, NM, and Joshua LeClair (Katie) of Fargo, ND and many great nieces and nephews.
Ann is predeceased by her father William P. Maher; mother Mary (Dalton) Maher Condon; sisters, Mary Kathleen Toohey, Patricia F. Dooley; step-father, Benjamin S. Condon; brothers, Benjamin S. Condon, John M. Condon; nephews, James Dooley, Gregory Dooley.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 at St Clements Church, 231 Lake Ave Saratoga Springs, NY. The Rite of Committal will follow at St Peters Cemetery Saratoga Springs.
Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at Compassionate Funeral Care 402 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY.A special thank you to Dr Liebers and his staff, Saratoga Hospital Staff and Hospice.
