Rosemary D. Miller
EAST GREENBUSH – Rosemary D. Miller, 85, of East
Greenbush, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, in the company of her family.
Born in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank
DeSanto and late Mary Luppino Ashley. Rosemary was a 1945 graduate of Philip
Schuyler High School and later in life worked as a veritype operator for the
NYS Department of Health from which she retired in 1983. She was an active
woman who enjoyed bowling and golf, and played in many leagues over the years.
Her friendships were many, and they lasted a lifetime.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Edward Miller,
and son, Rev. Kenneth R. Miller. She is survived by her son, Stephen E. Miller
of Wilton, NY and her niece, Jacqueline DeVito of Northville, NY. She is also
survived by dear friends Franklyn Dillon and Teresa Simmons of East Greenbush,
NY. Rosemary was most recently a resident at the Schuyler Ridge Residential
Health Care facility in Clifton Park, NY, where she enjoyed her new friends and
participating in many activities.
Rosemary’s family extends our appreciation to the staff at
Schuyler Ridge for the care they provided to her. We also wish to acknowledge
the staff of Albany Memorial Hospital CCU for the kindness and compassion shown
to our mother during her final days.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Aug. 13, 2013, at 11 AM, at Graceland Cemetery 680 Delaware Ave., Albany, NY.
