Dorothy Nicoll (dot) died Monday, February 25, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital with her loving family at her side.  She was born April 23, 1937 in Methuan, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Florence Burnham Stuart. 

Dorothy married Harry Nicoll he predeceased her in 1986.

Dot enjoyed sewing and doing a wide variety of crafts, and meeting with her friends daily for a cup of coffee and conversation.  Dot also loved to play her organ and did crossword puzzles for relaxation. 

She is survived by her son, Barry Nicoll (Charlotte); daughter, Sheryl Riegel (Glenn), grand-children, Nikki Schimizzi (Ryan), and Barrett Remington (Erin); great grandchild Alexander; and sister, Edith Guerin. 

She was predeceased by her parents and husband Harry.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday March 2, 2013 at Greenridge Cemetery (17 Greenridge Place, Saratoga Springs, NY) at 11:00 AM. 

Friends and family may call from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the graveside at Simone Funeral Home (402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY). 518-584-2240

Louis A. Notarangelo

Louis A. Notarangelo, 84, passed away on Friday Feb. 22, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on May 6, 1928 in Mamaroneck, NY the son of the late Marco Antonio and Philomena DiRuzza Notarangelo.

Louis married the love of his life Anna Maria Marsella on February 10, 1952 in Mamaroneck, NY.  He served his country in the US Army 11th Airborne.  Louis worked for many years for Sears Roebuck, White Plains, NY.  He loved golfing, swinging a hammer and his family.

Louis is survived by his wife, Anna Maria; son, Louis John of Ballston Spa, NY; daughter, Susan Notarangelo Westbrook (Christopher) of Wanakena, NY; sisters, Pauline Tobin, Gloria DeMartino (Dr. Al DeMartino), both from Rye, NY; sister-in-law, Norma Marsella, Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Anthony Marsella (Josephine) of Mamaroneck, NY; grandchildren, Maria Westbrook, of Schenectady, NY and Timothy Westbrook of Milwaukee, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

Louis was predeceased by his bother Thomas Notarangelo and his wife Glorianna; brothers-in-law Gaetano Marsella and Edward Tobin and niece Patty Ann Marsella.

Barbara Ruth Finn


Barbara Ruth Finn died Wednesday February 20, 2013 at Saratoga hospital.  She was born December 12, 1936 in Mooers Forks, NY. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Winifred Garrand Jeffery.

She is survived by her husband Donald; two daughters, Sandra Makara (Mark) and Karisue Finn (Joe); son Paul Finn (Jacqueline).  She is also survived by her brother, Robert Jeffery (Marla) and his children Nicole, Robert and Amy; daughter-in-law, Brenda Finn; grandchildren Sara, Jaclyn, Dawn and Daniel; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Barbara enjoyed the outdoors especially birds and the Adirondack Mountains. She lived in Malone when she was younger, and spent time in Saranac Lake and the surrounding areas.
Barbara met her husband Don and was introduced to a wonderful family that was from the Saranac area. Barbara and don were married August 31, 1968. She was very fond of her father-in-law Roy and Don's sisters Patti and Peg.

When Barbara met her husband Don, he was an avid Harness Horse enthusiast. He had been attending the races with his neighbors from Rochester and had decided to start a career training horses. They had a stable for several years at Vernon Downs, NY and then relocated to Saratoga Springs.  Don currently trains horses with their daughter KariSue at Saratoga Raceway. Barbara enjoyed going to the races and handicapping with a few of her friends that would meet regularly in the grandstand. She leaves behind a lot of friends she missed when she couldn't go to race track anymore.

She was predeceased by her parents as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters and also her sons Donald J. and Jeffrey Finn.
