John Natalie



John Sauliner Natalie, 55, passed away on Wednesday March 27, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital after a brief battle with cancer, with his loving family and friends at his side.

He was born on Oct. 14, 1957 in Schenectady, NY the son of Frank Natalie and the late Janis Sauliner.

John worked for 30 years as a Pipe Fitter, for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union #7 until his retirement. 

John is survived by his Life Companion and FiancĂ©e, Marcia Little of Saratoga Springs, NY who has been there for me in sickness and health; son, John and daughter Andrea both from Burnt Hills; brother, Frank Natalie of Rotterdam, NY; sisters, Janis Natalie and Lynn Pennacchia (Mel); nieces, Rachel and Christine and nephew Michael; best friend, James “Pappy” Pappillion, Jimmy; father, Frank Natalie (Irene); and several uncles, aunts and cousins; and my Union brothers and sisters from across the country.

John was predeceased by his mother, Janis Sauliner, who never past judgment on anyone, and was always there for me when I needed her.  Now she is there for me again.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm, at Compassionate Funeral Care (402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Sp., NY) where friends and family may call on Saturday from 11:00 to 1:30 pm prior to the service.

Annmarie Koonz Symonds “Annie” died peacefully on Thursday, March 15th, 2013 at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born October 21, 1942 in Albany New York the daughter of the late Christian and Catherine Maher Koonz.

Annie married the love of her life Donald Symonds on June 16, 1962 and they spent 50 wonderful years together.

Annie was a loving wife, wonderful mom, loving grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a loving sister and wonderful friend.

Annie was an avid bingo player and had many dear friends.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Jr. (Kelly) and Christopher Symonds; Daughter Bonnie Wall (Ronald);  sisters Catherine Groesbeck and Deborah Minkler (John); brother Christian Paul Koonz; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren;  many nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held in her honor on Tuesday March 19, 2013, 10:00 am at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave Saratoga Springs, NY, where friends and family may call on Sunday March 17, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

Juanita Malone, 83, a longtime resident of Grand Avenue, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital following a long illness.

Born on April 16, 1930 in Sumterville, Florida, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Lawrence) Seals.

Juanita was raised and educated in Avon Park, FL and was a graduate of Sebring High School.

In her early 20’s, she moved to New York City and was employed as a seamstress.  Subsequently, she moved to Saratoga Springs to care for her aunt.

Shortly thereafter, she married Lloyd Malone of Saratoga Spring.  He died in 1990’s.

Juanita enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by two sisters:  Rosa S. Lee and Anna Lee Seals both of Avon Park, Fla.  Nephews Rod Noel of Sebring, FL and Louis Lee Jr of Lake Wales, FL and niece Tara Lee  of Avon Park, FL. Step-daughter Susan Nash, and special friend Marion Baket of Avon Park.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 15th at Saratoga Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church, 399 Union Ave., Saratoga Springs.  There are no calling hours.  Burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery in Avon Park, FL.
