Timothy Northrup

Timothy Northrup, age 59, passed away on July 26, 2014 at his home in Greenfield Center, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 25, 1955 Albany, NY, the son of Richard Northrup and Gail (Dallas) Thorne; he grew up in New Baltimore.

Timothy married John Rainville and they spent 15 years together.

Timothy graduated from Ravena Central School.  He also attended and graduated from Austin Beauty School, Albany NY.

He worked in several different salons in the Albany and Saratoga area.

Timothy loved working in his yard; he enjoyed doing several yard projects and especially loved his flowers. He enjoyed crafts and making gifts for his family and friends.

Alice Shute




Alice Shute


Alice Shute, age 79, passed away on July 6, 2014 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 5, 1935 in Belmont, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Edward and Irene Ellsworth.

Alice was a homemaker who was a kind, loving and a warm person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Alice is survived by her sons; Ralph Jr.and Michael Shute, daughter; Kathleen Fields (Bob), grandchildren; Ralph III, Joseph, Jay, Jakob, Racheal, and four great-grandchildren.

Marty Schleifman






Marty Schleifman, 88,  passed away on June 26 at his home in Greenfield Center, NY.  He went peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife Jeanne and son Bruce.  He was the son of the late Morris and Celia Schleifman.  He grew up in the Bronx, NY, with his three brothers; Edward, David and Milton.  They moved to Rockland County in the 1940's, where he raised his family and started Tri-M Dental lab.
 Always an outdoor enthusiast, he bought a weekend retreat near Saratoga, and spent many happy weekends working on his home and property.  He retired at sixty and moved full time to Greenfield Center, where he devoted himself to creating the ultimate family retreat.  Marty was passionate about fishing and hunting and enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling and golf.  He shared his enthusiasm for his home with his extended family and many friends.
