Annmarie Koonz Symonds
“Annie”
Annmarie
Koonz Symonds “Annie” died peacefully on Thursday, March 15th, 2013 at home
with her loving family by her side. She
was born October 21, 1942 in Albany New York the daughter of the late Christian
and Catherine Maher Koonz.
Annie
married the love of her life Donald Symonds on June 16, 1962 and they spent 50
wonderful years together.
Annie was a
loving wife, wonderful mom, loving grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a
loving sister and wonderful friend.
Annie was an
avid bingo player and had many dear friends.
She is
survived by two sons, Donald Jr. (Kelly) and Christopher Symonds; Daughter
Bonnie Wall (Ronald); sisters Catherine
Groesbeck and Deborah Minkler (John); brother Christian Paul Koonz; 6
grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Funeral
Service will be held in her honor on Tuesday March 19, 2013, 10:00 am at Compassionate
Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave Saratoga Springs, NY, where friends and family may
call on Sunday March 17, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
Interment
following service at Maplewood Cemetery Saratoga Springs NY
