  2. Such profound silence for me here tonite as I look out into the darkness of my back yard...
my mind swirling with thoughts of my dear friend, neighbor, landlord of 8 years; Miss Ruth!
The music she gave to this world now reveals with her in the Heavens above. All that she has been to me for the past eight years has branded my heart forever. I was truly blessed to have her in my life. She will be more than missed by me... her absence has left a thirst never to be quenched. My only happiness right now is knowing she now enjoys the wonders of God and his Kingdom with other loved ones from my life.

My Dear Miss Ruth.... Her smile, her wisdom, her music, her greeting from the back door when I arrive home, the smiling wave from the riding lawn mower... the horn tooting goodbye or hello of the VW bug... all these things kept me on my path to always care for & see the best in people. I promise you my dear friend I shall not stray from the profound purpose God brought you into my life Miss Ruth! Eternal love and admiration, Felicia Saratoga Springs NY feliciaomar819@gmail.com

My deepest sympathy to all. Ruth has been, and continues to be, in may prayers; may she rest in peace, having travelled this world with great verve and energy.

  7. I did not know Ruth well or for long, but from the time I met her, I loved her energy, her intellectual curiosity, her take-action attitude and her passion for that which she believed in--I loved discussing politics with her. We at Saratoga Hospital are deeply appreciative of the gift commitment she made here and her legacy will be with us always. Susan Axelrod, Director of Planned Giving, Saratoga Hospital Foundation

  8. Elaine, what wonderful memories I have of you, Muriel, Regis and Ruth in those heady days of the '80s - pottery, weaving, aqua-aerobics, new year's eve galas & the orchestra pit. Ruth was effervescent, lighting up wherever she was with that great smile, captivating voice & laugh, and SO composed. So glad to have known her. We will all miss her. BTW I let Muriel G know....
