Shirley Ann Fuller, age 82, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on October 25, 1932 in Saratoga Springs, NY to the late John Elmer Freebern and Mary Lucretia Vanderwerker.  Shirley graduated from Saratoga Springs High School.  Shirley was employed with Saratoga Dairy as a bookkeeper. Shirley enjoyed reading, was passionate about needlework, and loved to go fishing.

Shirley is survived by her daughters; Sandra Nordland and Donna Flinton, step-son; Joseph Fuller (Suzi), step-daughters; Becky Kendrick (Dave), Karen Paglia (Tom), grandsons; Donald J. Flinton (Sophie), Patrick Collins, Kevin Collins, Nicholas Paglia, Brent Fuller, Michael Kendrick, granddaughters; Sarah Murabito (William), Lauren Paglia, Jalisa Green, Carolyn Fuller, and 3 great-grandchildren; Jordan and Justin Flinton and Sebastian Murabito.   

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Donald Flinton, Ralph L. Fuller, son; Donald Clifford Flinton, brother; Jack Freebern and sister; Carol Cunningham

A funeral service in honor of Shirley will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Compassionate Funeral Care, Inc. 402 Maple Ave., (Marian Ave or Rte 9), Saratoga Springs, NY.  Friends and family may call on Wednesday, January 28th from 5 – 7 pm at Compassionate Funeral Care, Inc.

Interment will be at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871. 

The family would like to give a special thank you to Donna Fuller Kloss for her compassionate care, love and support during Shirley’s last few months. 

In addition, the family wishes to express a sincere “Thank you” to the caring staff at Hospice for all their love and support and to Dr. Delmonte, Dr. Mastrianni, Dr. Liebers and their staff.

In lieu of flowers please make your donations to Saratoga Community Hospice, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY.
